I'm not a huge Kim fan but I feel bad for her this season. Her team so far has not impressed me. They do well on the challenges but the women in particular come across as whiny. Hate that.

Julie, I have to Echo your thought's on Kim & her Lady Contestants.
I'm glad Lezlye was voted off because she was acting all Macho & had some Serious Attitude~but that Amy girl~Goodness, as I said before~ somebody give her some cheese to go with that "Whine" of hers.
I was totally disappointed with her Walk Out during the Training session. The guy's will Rule the Red Team & Amy will be the next to leave~~her weightloss #'s are waaaaay too low.
I have to give Lezlye credit for going home & losing an additional 50 lbs., she is determined to prove she can do it~~plus trying for the most weight lost at home & the money that goes with it is incentive, too!

Dittos!!!!!! I just can't stand those whiny women! I was surprised the guys voted off Lezlye instead of Amy, especially after walking out on that weigh-in, but who knows what we missed that got left out. She is definitely the next to go on team Red. And Kim - annoying!

Su, ITA re: Rachel McLish the former Ms. Universe in Female Bodybuilding~~Now, That's an Awesome Woman! I used to do her workout when I was much younger!
I also think Amy is the next one to go. I didn't watch last season for some reason, I must have had a prior commitment on the night it was on.
I, too, thought Leslye looked great in her "After Leaving the Show" shots.
Great minds think alike!

That~~we already know Lady (re: your handsome Hubby)
I've decided that the reason the guys voted Lezlye off instead of Amy
was because she was more of a Threat to them~~
Amy almost acts like she doesn't care and wants to go home.

Sep 20 2007, 7:25pm
What's really bothered me is that Lezlye and Amber both went home and really did well. So that makes wonder what the heck their problem was. This isn't a new show. It's not like you don't know that you're going to get your butt kicked by the trainer. I just don't get it! Amy walked out during training but wasn't Lezlye the one that didn't want to do the stairs. That irked me.

Sep 20 2007, 7:43pm
They did well for Good Old Sweet Revenge~~when they ALL come back they'll want everyone's Jaw to drop open.
I, too have a problem with the way they didn't get into it while there.
There were so many people wanting that opportunity & they threw it away !
Yup, Julie~~Lezlye's the one that, "Just didn't want to do the Stairs"~Geeezzz, Louise ! I don't like Whiner's

Sep 20 2007, 8:58pm
They were Booted off because they weren't Pulling their Weight (pardon the Pun)~~so they needed to be off the show, after all~there were so many other's competing for that spot.
You're right Jimmy about the money~~Poppi blew my mind last season with her 118 lb loss~~and what a Transformation !
It helps that when whomever's Booted gets home they get all the same Perks & Help offered to them, as the ones at the Campus: Food, Exercise Machines & a Trainer at their convienence thru 24 Hr Fitness. So they aren't Really doing it by themselves~~but they are the ones doing the Hard part.

Yes Julie,
I saw it on last seasons show~~when they showed them going home to continue in their Weightloss Journey. Their Fridge & Cupboards were stocked with Food & they had Top Notch Exercise Equipment delivered to their homes.
I saw an Interview with Poppi and she talked about all the help she got from the show , but that she's the one that had to get up everyday and put the hours in & eat the right way.
I'm sure alot of people think they're on their own, I did too until seeing that show.

I can't remember his name but I like the captain of the red team hes has a great attitude. I agree if I had to hear Amber whine again. Ug. I was surprised she had actually kept up on it and lost weight. I thought she would be alot worst then she was.

Hi Pat,
Welcome to our Biggest Loser discussions, I too like Phil.
I was surprised that since he's the Captain of the Red Team, that he was already fixin` to be eliminated.
That shows us that it's an~ All For One Competition, if you can vote off your Capt. after only 2 shows.
You're right he has a great attitude, but the "Thanks" he gets for Picking these people, busting his butt on that 10 story building race so they could win the challenge~~~is 2 of the 5 want to kick him off.
I'd be worried if I was those two, `cuz Phil's a Big Boy !
But, just as I said about the Twins on the Black Team (Bill & Jim)~
Phil is easy on the eyes and he'll be a Hunk when he's done losing~instead of a Chunk.
He's just a Baby at 27 yrs. old~~Heck, I've got Shoes older then he is !

I completely forgot about Lezlye wanting to sit out on the stairs challenge!!!!!! Duh - you're right, bet that was part of why she got booted off - what an attitude!
Still can't figure out why Phil picked Amber over any of the black team members to start with, what a stupid move, so he's not my fav on that team at the moment.
The twins on the black team are cuties, agreed!

You know what Kelly, I would have picked Amber too ! For the very reason that she didn't give up on the race to the Trainers even though she was dead last! To me that showed how much she wanted to be there & lose weight. I wouldn't have picked Lezlye or Amy over the Twins, I believe when they have the Finale` show that Amber is going to come back and Blow everyone away with her Big Weightloss. Just for the Sweet Revenge to show she didn't Give Up & they should have given her the chance to prove it!

Oooooooo, I'm excited~~
It's Monday or~ B.L. eve day as, I like to call it!
Tomorrow night we'll see if the Red Team can come out of their slump and actually win a Weigh-in, and not have to send someone home.
We're all thinking that it'll be Amy~~
BUT, since there are 3 men left, they just might keep her and vote off one of the men that seems the most Threatening to them.
It'll be an interesting show, I believe if Red loses the weigh in~the Teams will have to re-group since there'll only be 3 contestants left here & 6 on each of the other Teams.

I think he picked her because she finished even though she was obviously struggling. I also think the producers had a lot of input into who was picked for each team. Otherwise, it would have been more imbalanced.

GO RED TEAM ~~WOOOHOOOO ~~THEY WON THEIR FIRST WEIGH-IN~
The Red Team managed to stay in the same room for 4 minutes each & not one person ate a Morsel of the food.
It was noted at the beginning of the show that Phil, the Teams' Captain had lost 31 lbs. That amount of weight was equal to: 115,000 Calories~
The Red Team also won the Challenge, which was running the 100 meter Track Race against Children. There were three Races~1st race was in the Kindergarten Age , the 2nd race was in the 3rd Grade age & the 3rd race was in the 4th grade age. Phil won against the 3rd grade age & made it possible to win the Challenge.
The reward for winning was a call Home for each member, Phil outshined the others in my opinion and came out being "The Gentle Giant", as his Love for his Wife & Daughter Showed his Tender side.
Kim's Pep Talk & Can-do Attitude helped her Team Prove, it was time for a Red or Blue Contestant to go home~~

Hello Red Team Fans,
At this point I believe it's more like~ "Captain Phil Fans" !
Tomorrow we'll find out if the Red Team can win another Challenge & not have to vote anyone else off.
I really feel that the "Teams" are now going to be re-grouped into "Team Mates of
Two"~as the Teams are off balance.
We'll find out tomorrow night~~the Show airs at 8:30 pm for 90 minutes.
I'm looking forward to it~Big Time!
On NBC.com a poll was taken to see who America thought had the Most
desire to win~~the results were:
Blue Team~14.46 %
Red Team~16.90 %
Black Team~68.65 %

Amazing as it seems~~the Red Team won this Challenge too~~they have won every challenge to date!
Their Captain Phil, showed his ability to Lead the Group down & then back up the Hill like the true Leader he is.
They were not told what their Prize was and had to wait until the final weigh-in to find out.
The Prize they won was something they really needed this week~~
The Entire Team won Immunity from Losing the Weigh-in, which meant they were all safe~~no one could be sent home!
I said they needed it because they had the Lowest Weightloss of all 3 Teams~
So, they Lucked out!
Next week it looks like the Teams will be a thing of the past~~
They will be Re-grouping~~maybe in Two's~~we'll have to wait & see.
The Biggest Challenge ahead for all 3 teams will be the Biggest Loser Campus closing down for the whole week.
That means: No Dorms, Kitchen or Gym use~~they will be on their own.
That won't be a problem for the Black Team~~as they started out the first 2 weeks in the Desert~~and Jillian is a Survivor!
It will be interesting to see how Kim pulls her Red Team thru this Road Block!

I think the RED team did an outstanding job on the challenge . . . . and it's a good thing because without that immunity another one would have been going home. Their weight loss was not good.
I can't imagine working as hard as they do for a lose of 1 lb . . . . that would be so depressing!
The Black team is doing awesome! Go Jillian and the BLACK TEAM.
(Leaving in a hurry before someone throws something at me!)

Hey Robin I don't think you have to worry about anyone throwing things at you for voicing your opinion!
Yes, the Red Team has won every Challenge since the show started on Sept. 11th, but I really get the feeling there aren't alot of Kim fans.
Maybe they relate the name to Kimmer~who knows!
She doesn't have the Personality of Jillian or Bob,
and she tries TOO hard to fit in.
I for one think if anyone is rooting for the Red's~~
it's ONLY for PHIL~the Captain!
He's determined to succeed and be The Biggest Loser~~
and I think he will be, if someone doesn't vote him off.
Besides~~
He's Really easy on the eyes~~what a Cutie Pie !!!!

This Red Team Forum seems like a Ghost Town !
Most of the people posting here are rooting for Phil, since he seems to be the Backbone of the Team as well as it's Captain~~
I believe the Red Team, per-say, has lost it's followers, as has the Blue Team!
Phil has shown his Dedication & Fortitude in every Challenge, which is why the Red Team has won every one of them!
He will NOT Give In or Give Up~~
He's like the Energizer Rabbitt and just keeps on Going & Going.
He has shown us his Strength (Steel Side) and his Tenderness (Velvet side).
The way he was able to let his Emotions come out while talking to his Wife & Daughter, proved to me~~That He is Quite a Man~~
One with a Journey to Complete!
He didn't apply for this show to end up being a Whimp about having to exercise for 4 to 5 hrs. a day & being seperated from his family. He's on a Mission for a Better & Longer Life & I admire him Greatly.

Hello Red Team Fans~
Amazingly the Red Team lost this weeks Challenge for the first time since the show began!
However they did win the Weigh-In, thus kept from eliminating another player.
While in Jamaica Kim had them doing Pool exercises and I have to say that I believe she just wanted to do that so she could wear the Skimpiest Bikini's I've ever seen. I, for one~believe she wasn't dressed properly!
Jillian wore a bikini top but had the decency to wear a "shorts" type bottom which was more apprpriate for a Trainer.
I had a real problem with her advise to her Team about the Alcoholic Drinks.
Which was: "You're Adults, if you want a drink then go ahead BUT you'll get up at 5:30am to work it off"!
I believe Jillian actually saw "RED" at that remark and said that They (the Trainers) were there to do a Job & set a Good Example and during the Contest there's NO room for Alcohol". Jillian reminded them all that once they get to goal an "Occasional drink would be allowed but NOT during the Competion".
I believe that Kim is trying too hard to be her Teams "FRIEND" instead of their Trainer.
When they showed the previews for next week it shows Kim really Losing it with David~

I hope they DON'T have her back next year !!

Oct 10 2007, 2:11am
I wasn't very impressed with Kim's attitude about the drinking. Just for that I was hoping they would lose the weigh in. But Kim aside I was very happy for the red team. They really kicked it up after last week!
HalsAngel
Oct 10 2007, 2:23am
They were set to lose big numbers in the weigh-in, after losing only 1 or 2 lbs. each last week~~their bodies had started losing again!
Which is exactly why the Balck Team had the opposite losses, last week they had alot of double digits, so of course the weightloss was going to slow down this week.
I forgot to mention about Bryan & his chest pains and being left behind when the others flew to Jamaica.
He was examined and recieved a passing grade to go on to compete in the Challenge. I'm happy it wasn't serious & he'll continue into next week with his team.

Oct 10 2007, 3:43pm
I actually liked Kim's attitude better than Jillian's re: the drinking. These people are adults and they have to do it for themselves. Yes, your trainer is there to assist and guide you but ultimately it comes down to what's inside you. Jillian is way too black and white for me.
For me Kim's 5:45AM wake up call would be more incentive to lay off the alcohol than Jillian getting in my face. But that's just me.

Welcome back Julie,
I still think she was trying to be more Friend ~ then Trainer.
It sure didn't stop David from losing weight, tho did it ?
I just don't feel it should have been encouraged,
not while competing anyway, as Jillian said.
That's alot of empty calories!
Good to see you posting again~~

I didn't feel she was encouraging it just saying that it's not worth drinking but they are adults and she was not going to order them not to drink. I don't know why Jillian was so over the top upset about it.

IF YOU REMEMBER~SO WAS BOB!
HE TOLD HIS TEAM THEY COULDN'T HAVE EVEN 1 DRINK~~AND SAID HE FORBIDDED IT!
I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE SAYING ABOUT THEM BEING ADULTS & NOT LITTLE KIDS. BUT LET'S AGREE THAT THE CHOICES THEY'VE MADE SO FAR WEREN'T THE GREATEST AND ALCOHOL MAKES YOU WANT TO NIBBLE & HAVE THE MUNCHIES.
I WAS MARRIED TO AN ALCOHOLIC FOR 10 YRS.

Oct 17 2007, 1:33am
I am in a Total State of Shock~
The Red Team has shown what IDIOTS (Thanks diamondwife) they are.
By B voting for Phil instead of Amy~~
They gave their Power to the Blue Team, who of course voted off Phil because He alone has won 5 out of the 6 Challenges.
Bob had said his Blue Team needs to win at least 1 challenge this season.
Since the Red's allowed the Blues to get rid of their Captain, maybe now they can.
That decision by the Reds put them in the same boat with the Blues voting off Jerry!
Phil was emotional about having to leave as he said he'd grown to Love all the Contestants. He was Man enough to Thank them all for feeling that he was a Threat to their Success~~and He WAS !
Kim proved tonight that she is NO LADY! She yelled at David using the F word too many times. A cowboy & True Southern Gentleman will NOT stand for a woman to use that kind of Language ! She was out of line & he was right to walk out & away from her as fast as he could.
Phil went home and lost an additional 46 lbs, adding that to his loss at the Campus of 62 lbs. making his Grand Total Weighloss to date: 108 lbs.
He looks Great, alot younger & even more Handsome!
I will miss him ~ But, I look forward to seeing him at the Finale`.
