Me about 8 pounds ago at a historic site in PA. Now my lowest is 166.5, though I'm up about 1.5 over my transition to LLVLC from KK.

Our sweet girl, 17-y.o. Callie, who has health problems but may be getting better, thanks to prednisone.

Digital camera "died" so nothing more recent to post.

I think that before and after picture are the biggest inspirations.

Thanks Kaly and PattiM for the positive take!

I am discouraged a bit at not losing for a while, but I know it will happen again in time. Last night I went out to dinner with my DH and had prime rib, small salad, and veggies. It was all good, and I only ate the zucchini and cauliflower and not the carrots. DH wanted dessert and I did a quick and dirty carb count with my handheld PDA and Calorie King program and decided I could have a little ice cream or a small portion of cheesecake. BUT, I didn't. DH had cheescake that turned out to be a layer cake with cheesecake in the middle. I took a taste (about 1/8 tsp) and it wasn't even good. Was satisfied with a cup of decaf with cream and splenda.

When I got home I made a single serving flourless chocolate cake, one of LindaSue's recipes. It was good. Kept the day's carbs at 20. Today the scale is up. I just have to stop looking at it!

Anyway, thanks to all for the encouragement. We're in this boat together, and it feels good to have company.

Love,
Sunny
