Full Version: Mascarpone Recipes
Does anyone have any good recipes using Mascarpone? Perhaps a cheesecake? I've found a ton of Tiramisu recipes but I'd rather try something new.
I love mascarpone but it's so darn expensive that I can't justify the expense. Have you found a good price on it where you live, Taoschick? Last time I checked it was well over $3.00 for a little 8 ounce tub here.
The best price I have found is at Trader Joe's-8 oz for $2.49. Same brand is double at the regular grocery here.

I paid $5.99 for a 500g tub. I consider that an excellent price for the town I live in. We're about an hour north of the nearest major city but you'd think they had to haul food to us over the mountains on mule trains for the prices they charge.
