I found this posted at the Active Low Carber Forum and I thought it would be good to share here. Jimmy has blogged about carbs & cancer before. Here is a report about studies using low carb to treat cancer. It actually goes back to theories from 1930.
The results aren't conclusive enough to draw conclusions and certainly not to convince the medical establishment, but they are promising and there is more interest in the subject. That's encouraging.

Thanks so much for sharing. I recently lost a dear pet to lymphoma and did a lot of research at the time to try and save her. There are many vets who also feel a ketogenic diet is of benefit to our animal companions with cancer as well. My dogs are all on ketogenic diets along with me, and why not. They can benefit as well. One of my pooches has already lost weight and my other girl is losing slowly.
