Hi everyone!

Do any of you keep a "Thin Pack" with you per the author's suggestion?

I bought a darling little soft lunch box (it's black with a pink stripe for Breast
Cancer Awareness) and I carry it with me when Im out and about.

Some of the things I keep in it are:

1 Baby Bell cheese
1 diet root beer
5-10 almonds (if Im eating them)
1/2 flax muffin

I find it really really helpful and wondered if anyone else
is doing it?

This past summer I was on the diet, and I did good. I was home and not out and about as I am now.
WHen I was out, I bought a cooler of ice water with me, and that worked out good.
NOW, I am out more, into """food""" situations more. I searve lunch to t he kids in the school on Thursdays and sell ice cream. ANd on Fridays sell chips and pizza.
And meetings etc. I am finding it hard to deal with it all now and often find my self cheating.
I need to find portable foods that keep that I can eat and not look like i am on a diet. (I am not ready to tell people yet)
I have to get back on the diet tooooooooooo

I'm not but it's a great idea!
I think I will start doing it.

I keep a desk drawer full of low carb stuff at work :shakes, bars, cans of tuna ,my favorite teas , "good coffee",and a kit of my favorite da vinci/torani flavors. I even have a single serve french press and battery-operated drink mixer :-D

I don't work, but I always make sure to try to have something around on hand that I can use as a good snack.... which reminds me... I'm almost out of yogurt! smile.gif

I love the GG Crispbread... it is SOOO good. 0 Net Carbs and very filling smile.gif

Whats that bread Christin?

I think that you can even get it from Netrition Bella. It is more like a cracker but it is GG Scandinavian Crisp Bread. 16 cals per slice and ALL fiber. They make such a nice addition!

I will put one of those and a Laughing cow wedge in my thin pack when I do take one along w/ maybe 1/2 an apple or peach, some almonds... or one of my new favorite snacks... soy crisps smile.gif

I guess I kind of do this when I play golf. I take things like a string cheese, a few almonds-10, a few strawberries or some beef jerky. Not all at once, but a couple. This is necessary because others bring stuff like peanut butter crackers, trail mix and it is nice to have a snack that is on plan and need the energy. I only take enough for myself because if no one wants to share what I bring, I'd eat it all.

There is a jalapeno jerky that is great because it is extra chewy and heats up your mouth so you don't want anything else.
