Well, I saw the macho thread, and I am not a party crasher (much ) so I thought there should be a thread for mixed parties--it IS fall and it IS football season ("it's the most wonderful time of the year). FAVE teams? College? Pro? Opinions about big stories--Vick? Patriots? Low carb game snacks welcome! (any suggestions?)

Sorry--I had to go be a girl for a couple of hours (Girl Scout meeting)!

I actually spent a stint in St Louis while in college and went to a couple of Blues games and it WAS fun! Not too hard to pick up, though most of the rules escape me at this point....um, lets see ice...and sticks...?



Rams weren't around when I was in St. Louis, so...Most people in this area are Dallas fans--used to have a t-shirt that said Arkansas Cowboys--LOL (Jerry Jones is a UARK alum, though they don't seem to do as well as they did when he played there!) I love the city of Denver, have been to two games...ONE of which was at the old Mile High Stadium...and hope to go to more.

Belichick? Definitely should've been suspended IMO...only begs the question--who else has done it and gotten away with it?

Denver is playing the Raiders at this moment and it isn't carried anywhere locally .. We're winning though!

College teams--well, big Nebraska fans in the house. I hail from AR, so my familty is all about the Razorbacks, whether they actually attended there or not. We lost against Alabama yesterday--was a good game from what I saw...up until the losing part! LOL NE lost too. My other "team" that I like to follow is Notre Dame b/c heck! I'm Catholic! They lost too! Not a good day for college ball in my house!

I'm not a big sports spectator, but having been to football, baseball, hockey,and basketball games...I really think the most riveting is Hockey. Maybe it is all the fighting in the stands
