MADE YA LOOK! Okay, I don't have an after I actually LIKE...but I have lost approximately 64 lbs so far (started on Atkins, then KK???, back on Atkins). I have to take a business card pic at some point and if that turns out, I will post it...

Congrats on your fantastic 64 lb loss, KimPossible. Can't wait to see your new pic!

laugh.gif LOL, I love your after pic!

I am not ready to run the Race for the Cure but I am planning on walking it again this year.

64 lbs is awesome! How far are you from goal or are you there?
KimPossible
Thanks you guys! Honestly, I am not sure...I feel like I picked 135 out of the blue. Honestly, I haven't weighed this low in a decade or more....I am going to concentrate more on toning and exercising--for now--but if 135 is my goal, I am 19 lbs away. WHAT??? under 20--huh, that's new....

I've been wanting to run another 5K for awhile (one in 2003 then gained again)...but I ran my first at about 30 lbs heavier than now, so I am sure I can do it...I am really trying to make activity a part of my daily life--it feels so good to run---AFTERWARDS.

Race for the Cure ROCKS. I am a Pink Fanatic... smile.gif

Kim - You and I are much more alike than I realized!!! I too am training to run in the RFTC!! My mother is a survivor and my grandmother was just diagnosed with her 4th case... sad.gif My sisters and I are determined to do whatever it takes to help find a cure. My sister has run for the last 5 years in the race... and this year... I'm determined to run with her! Hey!!! You're running on October 20th in LR, I'm running on October 6th in Houston. What if we tried to run together next year at a half way point place for both of us?? Like... Dallas? The Dallas race this year is on the 20th too... so won't be able to do that one wink.gif but anyways... something fun to think about! biggrin.gif

Congrats and I wanna see pics from your race!

I love that idea Christin! I am sorry to hear about your grandmother...((HUGS)). My family has been lucky--it affected my great grandmother and then metastacized (sp?) to her lungs...but my grandma, mom, and I (so far) have been fine. My DH's aunt, who I adore, in CO, has had it, and was re-diagnosed about 3 years ago--it is in her bones (and maybe an organ or two?). She's doing well considering, but I have a feeling she's doing worse that she lets on. sad.gif

I've always wanted to do a 3 day--have you seen those? That's a big committment, though--fund raising and such. I've run one Komen...oh wait...WALKED LOL....but I raised money for it. I'm not much of a fundraiser, in that respect--I feel bad asking for money!

I will think of you on your race day! PINK RULES! Have you seen the "click" site?

It's Here: http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/clickTo....faces?siteId=2

I found it through a sig on LCF a few days ago--ended up ordering a bunch of pink stuff...did I say that already? Somewhere I did....Brain bubbles!

Melodie--I can't find them yet. But I'm determined. Found LOTS of others, though. I can't imagine walking in 6" heels. ohmy.gif I like heels but OW!

Jimmy--thanks dude! I try!
