I see that alot of people say that they eat sausage and I love the big long pork sausage link you can cut off and cook as much as you need at the time, I believe it is put out under the name Lords at least the one I was buying. My question is can we eat pork sausage or not, I thought it said not to eat sausage with fillers and sugar and all the sausage links I pick up in the grocery stores has that stuff in them. I do not like turkey or chicken sausage, so just wanted to check it out and see if it is ok or not.
Thanks everyone

Just watch out for hidden sugars, but you should be okay with just about any pork sausage. VERY healthy, too (when you keep your carbs reduced!).

I have not noticed any ill effects from sausage. I eat an omlet with sausage and vegetables just about everyday.

I find the fresh, store-brand sausage in the meat counter has less sugar and added crap (such as nitrates) than the commercial-brand sausage.

You can also Google the web for sausage recipes you can make yourself from ground pork or even fresh pork if you have a meat grinder. There are some good ones out there and you'll have total control over what goes in it.

We love a beef sausage that they have in the frozen section in Wal-Mart. It has a ton of fat and no nitrates or nitrites. Great stuff. They are patties and they are in a predominantly red bag.
