I was just wondering if anyone had sample menus they ate while on the induction phase of Atkins. Trying to get a few ideas before I go shopping. Thanks for any ideas

Eat only from the list of Acceptable Foods for Induction!
Linda Sue has all her menus at www.genaw.com/lowcarb/index.html along with Jimmy's.
Just don't follow the menu plan at Atkins.com!!!

Jimmy, thanks for posting your menus. I was happy to see you have nuts and beef, two of my favorite things. I want to do induction first for a few weeks at least, maybe longer, but if I can eat more and still lose 3.5 pounds a week, I would be extremely happy! Yesterday I added carbs in the form of veggies, and was up 1.6 pounds today...however, that is only one day and I know it will even out. This is after eating nothing but eggs and meat for a couple of months for most days....I was so happy to eat some brussel sprouts...I know they are high carbs but I still kept the carbs less than 20 and when I saw them on the list..had to have them! Ha!
Is there a FAQ forum so I don't ask questions that have already been addressed on these forums? thanks in advance! I will also check out Linda Sue's menus! I love getting ideas from them.

Just be sure to mix it up and keep it interesting. IT CAN BE!

Don't worry about the FAQ or repeating questions. If we get a good thematic thread, then we can pin it.

We're still so new, but we're growing!

LindaSue, I just looked at the recipes you posted and they look awesome! My mouth was watering just looking at the pics!

I saw several that I am sure my DH will eat as well. And at least one I can take to Sunday breakfast at the in-laws!

Oh Linda, Linda, Linda - your recipes look so yummy. I am printing them out now. Can't wait to try some this weekend.
I am a Kimkins refugee and am so happy to have found this forum. I think I will be doing Atkins for a while to see if I can lose the remaining 23 pounds. I'm excited about the prospect of being able to eat better and still lose.

Thanks so much!

And then you keep doing Atkins to keep the weight off!
That's why there's 4 phases of Atkins... maintenance is the goal!

Linda Sue,
I am so sure you are an angel sent from Heaven Above. I will NEVER EVER again say I am bored with Low Carb. Your recipe site is AMAZING. I came across this thread earlier today and I happened upon your induction meal plans. Well I made my husband the White Castle casserole and we were BOTH EXTREMELY IMPRESSED. My teenagers loved it too. I even bought some spicy mustard to serve on the side with it with some hamburger pickles and we were SHOCKED at how similar these taste to the original sandwich. I cant tell you how many times we've driven by White Castles here in the Chicago suburbs and faked cried cause we couldnt swerve over and pop a couple little burgers down. This recipe will definately become a regular at our table. I CANT WAIT TO TRY MORE of your recipes. You have no idea how excited you have made me and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for you sharing your recipes with the world. (((((((((((((((((((Linda Sue))))))))))))))))))))))) : )
What a special gift you have given us.
THANK YOU!!!

Linda, your chile relleno casserole rocks - my husband loved it and he does not do lo carb. I was afraid he was going to eat the whole casserole last night. He ate about half of it because I stopped him.
