Of course, with variety, comes confusion. But it's just a matter of setting your priorities. Pick the forums/threads that appeal most to you, or address your needs. Subscribe to them, so that you are notified of new postings by email. This filters your postings, so to speak, to only what you ordered. Or use My Assistant...it will give you the new posts only in the forums to which you subscribe. Then sample other forums/threads,
a la carte. This week, you may not be interested in a thing Charles has to say about exercise, but next month, you might be feeling great enough to want to add some slick and sweat to you life, or you might want recipies, or maybe a prayer or two, or just some expert advice from the folks who are doing it.
To me, there are two things about La Vida that give it vitality, credibility, and the power to endure and grow, when other sites have failed.
First...what an incredible, untapped resource we have here, with the minds, enthusiasm, and
esprit de corps of hundreds of low carbers. I would hate to lose out on the opportunity to pick the brain, or the heart, or the soul, of a single one of them. Multiple forums let me use the resources of all our members, and lets them use me.
Second...La Vidaville is a living, dynamic place, and it draws it's incredible positive energy, from the combined wattage of all of us, every member, every forum, every thread, every topic.
Consolidation? Yes! Cancellation? No! Open forums to the people.
