I follow the PPP!

I first started PPP back in 1998, after my second son was born! I did great until I started listening to other people!!

I'm back, and now I remember why I loved it so much in the first place!!

Welcome Adele. I think you have hit on the key to the whole darn thing - listening to ourselves - body, spirit & mind. I'm sure you will be very happy here in LLVLC land where there is a wealth of knowledge and an exchange of information without judgement or criticism. Pat

They are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Met them once in Brooklyn, NY.

Nice picture, Jimmy........

Dr. Mary Dan is from my hometown, and her mom used to teach English in my high school! She's younger than I am so our paths did not cross back then, but I went to school with her siblings, and she has been nice enough to email with me several times.

EVERYONE should check out their blogs. I ALWAYS learn something!

Hi, folks, I'm so stoked to be among you all!
My first "low carb" experience was with PP back in 1999, my senior year in high school. I lost 60 pounds in 3 months, had a fantastic summer with my then high school sweetheart, now hubbie of 7 years....and sticking to PP went downhill from there! Eik! Dinners out, chocolate, then a year of Bible College...with Cherry Coke on tap, not good not good not good!!! I must have had gallons per week of the stuff, oh it's such a downfall fave of mine *sniff*. Of course too, as at any college, the food was a lot of staples, pasta, pasta, rice, more pasta, and belgian waffles in the morning. Fast forward to now, and I've wandered b/t PP and Atkins and other lc type stuff, but I have to say, PP was it for me and now I'm back to stay til goal.
I too am glad I've found my way back to where I started....sometimes you just have to go back "home", you know?
Nice to "meet" you all. TTYS!

I'm an Atkins girl, but I love the PP books, love the Eades' blogs, check them every day. I learn a lot from them. Their plan is so sensible, and the books explain in detail how low carb works. It should be required reading for everyone doing low carb, regardless of the plan they choose.

And you won't find two nicer people than Mike and Mary Dan Eades! Love these guys!

PP for life!

I'm one of those folks who also tried other plans (like them too), found PP, lost weight, went back to eating carby carb (along with a bunch of medical problems) and am now back on PP for good. Learned the hard way that this is my WOL. Its great to read the Eades blogs and see them appling the PP eating in real life. Also, check out Dr Mikes post's about thier italy trip and the meals they ate. yum!
