Lean For Life is a low fat, lower carb, moderate protein plan that is very structured. The plan teaches portion control, and also help you to work on the mental aspects of losing weight that we all go thru.
The Lean for Life program follows a convenient, easy-to-follow, day-by-day format. The menu features three meals plus three snacks a day. Lindora does offer an assortment of protein products that you can use for convenience or variety, but the plan can be followed without adding any of the products. You’ll learn to eat a wide variety of readily available natural, wholesome foods you can find in any grocery store or order in regular restaurants while losing weight and making healthy changes in your life. Your family can enjoy the same great-tasting foods while you’re on the program. This plan incorporates protein days, and a metabolic adjustment phase to keep your metabolism working at it's greatest capacity.
Using the book or the on line program as a guide, you will combine healthy eating with a therapeutic lifestyle adjustment. You will learn to overcome the physical, psychological and environmental “triggers” that lead to inappropriate eating.
Like, with any plan, I recommend you get and READ the book.
Part of being truly successful in being lean for life is re-training your brain. The book will offer you so many tools and exercises for doing the emotional work and dealing successfully with the obstacles you will encounter along your journey.
Because Lean for Life is a ketogenic diet, it also leads to decreased hunger and cravings, improved mood, increased energy, while maintaining lean muscle mass. The bottom line: you not only look better, you feel better too!
