I have been wanting a treadmill forever. I finally got one! I have had it two days and have hopped on without hesitation both days. I am loving it!

Cool Cartbabe. I love the treadmill, especially the electric ones powered ones. Remember not to do high-intensity cardio for a long period of time (over 40 mins) as you would start to break muscle tissue down instead of fat. That's called catabolism and we don't want that.
Either a long low-intensity session like a walk or, my favorite, a short high-intensity burst e.g. 15-20 mins. The short burst has been shown in studies to burn more fat and also it keeps your metabolism raised for hours afterwards.
Mark.

Thanks, Mark. I try to simulate my outdoor walking here in the foothills. I do a thirty minute mountain climb with ranges from 3.0-4.0 mph with ranging inclines throughout. I am not into catabolism. Strange you should mention it. I just recently studied anabolism and catabolism. Trust me, there is no fear of catabolism for me.
Thanks for the advice!

I'm jealous, Mary! Although I'd love to have an elliptical machine.
