I'd prefer if the Kimkins talk remained here because some people read the journals of their fellow members who are not the least bit interested in the Kimkins story. I'll leave that to your discretion, but keep the majority of the "controversy" talk here please. THANKS everyone!!!

"Something to keep in consideration....is that with everything going on lately, the changing of ownership proceedings are being quietly done for the time being. Further information will be released once things are finalized, and in the time being the plan is to move forward and progresswith the site in a positive way. Kimmer will still be a part of things and available for your questions via email, just no longer the direct owner/ person who runs the business aspects of the site. I completely understand all of you wanting to know more, but at this point in time it would not be prudent to release the full information to prevent harmful interuptions.

Someone asked if the "new owners" will be issuing refunds. I went to read it and it was GONE!

"Like the rest of you I would like answers too! BUT usually when a business is sold everything goes with it. I am sure there are plenty of notes and "secrets" as to how this diet is done so they will be able to answer our questions or concerns. There are still many here who are maintaining and probably have all of the knowledge we need to survive and keep moving forward with or without Kimmer. I for one have started asking MY doctor all of the questions that have run through my mind through this whole thing. I have everything from aches, and pains, to bowl problems and heart problems and he STILL gives the go ahead on this diet. He is impressed with my success so far and wants me to keep losing the weight that is ruining my health. I have even considered buying HIM a paid membership. Just so he can see EXACTLY how this is working and EXACTLY what I should be wary of or not wary of. I don't trust many doctors. I am upset that there wasn't a little more warning to her walking away but maybe being under new owner ship will make the harassment that has been plaguing the boards for the past number of weeks STOP. The media coverage to back off and actually see what this is all about. If I knew a doctor that would be willing to jump in and give advice on what to do and what not to do I would sure jump at the chance to drag them in here. Don't jump ship yet. Being FAT is just as damaging if not worse than losing the weight this fast. Its like having gastric bypass with out the actual surgery. I can tell you I have been scared for the past few weeks and have actually gone into maintenance mode watching the boards carefully but I think I may be ready to jump back in. I have been to my doctor this week and asked the questions and told him the "horror" stories and he was not at all worried.

My word of advice to the new owners: and this is just advice
We have had so many of us come together here WITH the praise of our doctors that maybe it would be a benefit for this site to have some doctors or nutritionists willing to be advisor's to the people on this site who desperately need this life change. It can be done and if things need to be tweaked so that we don't fall victim to these "illnesses" that have been supposedly caused by this diet then thats what should be done. I for one always call my doctor with the concerns I have but would rather be able to just jump online and get my answers here."

Yep! It's like a stand off in there.

My husband thinks I am nuts for being involved in any of this, but he speculates that Kimmer is just using the admins accounts to answer/delete. He says, "No one would be crazy enough to hang out and take the heat for Kimmer." I am not sure.

It is very addicting to go back and forth between that site and here. It is very much like watching an empire (evil) crumble. There must be many new people over there that are very disillusioned about now, if they've hung on this long.

Yes. Very addictive! I had kept a low profile just for a pivotal moment like this, but I do figure my KK access time is limited because of my posts here.

I tell you what--when my DH gets home he'll think I'm in need of help--being on the computer as long as I have. But my kids did eat tonight, so LOL! He keeps saying Told ya so. PBTTTT. I think TT and SL are in it up to their eyeballs and aren't going to budge.

i started wondering...is "kimmer" leaving so that only heidi diaz remains? then heidi can speak for herself and play dumb as to where "kimmer" disappeared to, and play dumb about all the stupid things "kimmer" has done or said. after all, "kimmer" has been setting this up for weeks that they are two different people.....

I saw Kimmer's picture, and I am thinking she is way more than 2 people - Ok, ok, that was mean. But funny!

Gary is the one who banned me and he started there I think either late May or early June

I'm kind of surprised Gary has stayed with it. I guess it makes him feel important to be an admin and "helping people"

One would think they would be reconsidering their positions, but I have to seriously question whether these remaining admins are thinking rationally. I think many are so focused on losing weight because they are tired of being obese, that they are willing to make huge sacrifices in their health. I just can't understand it.

I just have to add this: Kimmer/Heidi/whoever has no human compassion whatsoever to do this to others. She has essentially destroyed the hope of her own masses in one swoop. What a piece of work.

I completely understand being new, given special posting duties, etc. It is satisfying to post answers to newbies, and feel important on a forum as if you know something you can share with others--I helped when the magazine hit answering questions, not as an admin, just helping the barrage of new members find their way--but with everything that is coming to light and then having Kimmer step away from it all? BIG RED FLAGS. Forget all the little ones--these are HUGE!

Abandoned--that's exactly what it is. And she intended to do it all along. The sad thing is, these remaining people are hurt by this, b/c they don't see her for who she really is--a con artist and only concerned about herself. Breaks my heart and pisses me off! Can I say that? LOL

Interesting! Well i don't know TT or SL but I thought I knew Gary. He really seemed to like the idea of helping everyone lose the weight. But I also know he doesn't have much going on in his life. He's about 55, left his home in FLa. to move to I think CT. to care for his father in his 90's. And he has very bad emphysema. So being an admin is probably the bright spot of his day

I believe you are exactly right about Gary, Carol. I think this has become his life.
