All this donut talk reminded me of this story I read a while ago. Check it out:
How about a Krispy Kreme hamburger? What are these people thinking?! Seriously. And I love junk food but it even made me think, "Yuck!".

As much of a donut junkie as I once was, I wouldn't even go there! That's just dumb.
I will admit I used to make Bread Pudding with Krispy Kreme donuts. Talk about sugar and carb overload. This stuff would nearly put you in a sugar induced coma.
No more! I'm done with donuts! And sugar!

You Americans just keep raising the bar on un-healthy foods!
Soon this will flood Australia.

How about some deep fried Pepsi?
| QUOTE |
We spent time with Boghosian on a recent morning, starting with an introduction to deep-fried Pepsi.
"I tell people this Pepsi doesn't need a straw," he says. "It needs a fork."
Instead of water, he mixes Pepsi with flour to make a batter. He randomly pours lines of it into a soybean oil, which he says has zero trans fats and zero carbohydrates.
The lines break into squiggly curlicues, like pieces of a funnel cake, as they quickly turn golden brown.
Boghosian lifts them out and dumps them on a tray. He scoops some into a regular-sized soda-paper cup and adds a bit of soda syrup to enhance the flavor. He sprinkles a bit of powdered sugar, adds a bit of whipped cream and tops it with a cherry. He smiles and asks: "Doesn't it look good?"

I had heard about deep-fried Pepsi before. That's just plain crazy! And who are the people eating this stuff?!

| The sandwich consists of two slices of white bread smothered in chocolate sauce, dipped in batter and deep-fried, then covered in sugar and more chocolate sauce. It is served with vanilla ice-cream — all of which is depressing news for nutritionists struggling to improve the nation’s poor diet. |

Deep fried mars bars yum. Nothing like going down to the local chippie and getting deep fried fish in batter with chips and a deep fried mars bar for dessert. Actually tried it once and the fat got me. Couldn't sleep and felt yuck. But very common in parts down under and also in the uk I beleive.

I remember seeing Nigela Lawson make fried mars bars. I don't know if any of you ever watched her show, but talk about some unhealthy stuff. But it sure looked good!
