Ok I'm trying to explore other aspects of my new home. I love getting to know people. This forum is HUGE and so much to digest but I thought I would add my own journal as I was keeping one at that "other" site.

My name is Colleen I have three children two boys ages 10 and 7 and a baby girl turning 2 in November.

My starting weight was 196 and today I weigh 164.5. I'm working on a new WOE hear and just love the people and support. Since the "other" diet I have added in some healthy fat such as dressings, cheese, cream cheese, and nuts ans well as veggies. I totally believe in the low carb WOE just not the low cal.

I've joined the "Biggest Loser Challenge" which is a HUGE incentive to stay focused, especially during this time of transition. I'm hoping to get a chance to really get to know some people here. It is so big it is hard to remember who is who LOL.

I work full time as an accountant, I'm a digital scrapbooking designer on the side, a taxi driver to my children and a long for a day when I can actually RELAX on the beach.

My oldest plays soccer and my youngest son just started baseball so from Wed-Sat that is my life SPORTS.

To date I have lost 25 inches and 31.5 lbs. I'm hoping to use this journal to record my progress with my new WOE.

Here are some before and now photos.

Colleen,

I am glad you joined the Biggest Loser challenge even if you are on an opposing (read: losing! tongue.gif ) team! And that can be taken any way you want to! biggrin.gif

Congratulations on the weight and inches you've lost. You look really good in the pic with your adorable daughter!

What kind of exercise do you do?

I just started this week I have the Slim in 6 DVD series. I like that it does cardio and strengthens your muscles at the same time. They use band resistance.

I'm hoping to join the gym after Christmas, it is a matter of money and time right now that is keeping me from doing so.

I'm not much of a journaler but I am on the site everyday. Right now most of my post are in the "Big Loser Challenge" I keep trying to venture outward but there is SOOO much LOL.

So I'm down another 2 lbs, which is pretty good since I'm still trying to figure out this low-carb none kk diet. I have to say I am enjoying what I eat so much better. Been eating a salad every day and they are SOOO yummy one of the things I missed.

Today I ate a hamburger, not a turkey burger but a hamburger. It was pretty good and I"m not even really a hamburger person, I just happened to be making them for my hubby and decided to have one myself.

My exercise this week wasn't as great as I would have liked but it was an improvement. I did a lot of walking. I did one day of an exercise tape and it took 3 days for my legs to repair LOL.

So all and all it has been a pretty good week. My mom took some pictures last weekend so thought I would post a few here.

Yummy I had things I haven't eaten in a while, didn't lose any weight but didn't gain any either.

I had a hamburger for lunch and some steak for dinner. It was SOOO good LOL.

I'm contemplating doing the Atkins induction phase these next two weeks. I have family coming into town and would love to try to lose a little more weight before this happens.

I am going to mosey on over and check it out!!

Lost 2 lbs for the first week of the "Biggest Loser" Challenge. GO TORNADOES!!
