I don't know if Dr. Mike Eads was thinking about Anthony Colpo's tirade when when he wrote his lastest post. He doesn't mention Colpo, but I can't help but wonder if that was what prompted this post. wink.gif If you haven't read it, check it out.

Some misguided ‘experts’ have been known to say that there is no such thing as a metabolic advantage, despite it’s having been demonstrated in many studies of free living people.

QUOTE
Sure, there are studies done with subjects in a hospital where they can be watched closely and don’t have to rely on recall to have their diets determined, the so-called metabolic ward studies But these studies are prone to error as well.

QUOTE
We’ll leave the discussion as to why and how for another post, but it should go without saying that metabolic ward studies on humans are fraught with inaccuracies

QUOTE
As I say, we’ll go into this in a later post, but just because something is a metabolic ward study doesn’t mean it’s infallible.

Sure sounds to me like he's talking about Colpo!! laugh.gif

I find it hilarious because a couple of years ago when theomnivore site wa sup, the people who worshipped at Anthony's feat also worshipped Dr. Eades.

Now those two are clashing? laugh.gif

Just goes to so that you shouldn't worship science or gurus, and keep an open mind.

I wouldn't say I ever worshipped Colpo, but I at least used to think he was somewhat rational. These days I wonder what color the sky is in his world.
