Hi Sandi, yes there are currently 3 teams and possibly a 4th team in progress. We will compete against the other teams to see which team is the BIGGEST LOSER.

Of course, we already know who that will be and who it won't be! The HOT PINK DIAMONDZ will win the BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE.

TEAL TAZMANIAN DEVILS & SMOKIN' ACES will not be the Biggest Loser . . . . altho they will be losers! ohmy.gif tongue.gif

Are we going to have an exercise program involved? like walking or whatever so many times per week? or just each doing individually what we want?

Hi Cathi,

I think that as a team we should decide what we want to do. Do we want to pledge XX minutes each week for exercising? Do we just want to post exercise minutes daily/weekly? Or ???

I would like to pledge exercise minutes because that will help keep me accountable. Well that and wanting to win this challenge! (I LOVE to compete! As long as I can have fun doing it!)

Note to Everyone: Of course we want to win . . . . but not at any expense. I would like our team to post the following each day (at their discretion):

Calories (Fat, Protein, & Carbs also if you want)
Exercise Minutes

I would not advise anyone to go below 1200 (at the very minimum) to try to lose weight as it is not healthy and not worth the effects it could have on one's health.

Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to see posted each day or if you prefer not to post calories and exercise minutes each day let me know that also.

The goal weight we are including is our long term goal. Everyone in this challenge is on the honor system. The challenge in my mind is to get everyone excited again, and allow us to feel empowered and no longer victimized.

The only requirements for our team is that they weight in every Monday morning. I would like everyone to make a personal goal/commitment for each week of the challenge (Mine this week is to exercise 6 of 7 days). I prefer to check in everyday but I know with everyone's busy schedules that is not always practical. Other then that there is no rules. We can make it up as we go, as this is our challenge.

I think I need to be held accountable in order for me to stay exercising as well. I think 30 minutes every other day is what I will plan on doing. I know I will get more if the weather is nice because I am always outside doing something but need to start preparing myself for the winter months.
speaking of calories...I probably should go eat something now...I have spaced it off today...I have a routine during the week to remind me to eat but on weekends I sometimes forget to take the time. I think a calorie posting will probably be benifical to me as well..I am up for whatever everyone wants to do.

Hey Hot Pink Diamondz! Just checking to see that you are all still on board and committed to the 8 week challenge?? Please let me know asap if anything has changed. We want to make sure we have 10 members participating . . . . you know how those Smokin' Aces are. If we don't have 10 they make try to get us disqualified because they know that is the only way they would have a chance of winning this challenge!!!!! biggrin.gif

I am going to commit to exercise and water . . . . how much I will decide by Monday. I am also going to decide on a weight loss goal for this challenge (this is entirely optional - if you don't want to you don't have to). I want to lose another 23 lbs by 12/15 (11 weeks) - so I will probably set my weight loss goal as 16 lbs.

I am looking forward to Monday!

Just had to check in and show you are wonderful new team logo that Coleen made. She works in graphics and is also working on the weekly challenge avitars that teams will be able to add to their signature bars. Good luck and remember to bundle up because the Teal Tazamanian Devils are going to blow the pink diamonds and smokin aces right out of this challenge.
