2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
I have seen this at work in my life many times, and definitely with my weight loss journey. My favorite Survivor of all time, Vecepia Towery (winner of Survivor 4 - Marquesas) quoted this scripture during the finale as the one that motivated her throughout the game. If you watched her season, you know that there was no way she should have won - or even made it to the final 2. Her vision shifted the energy throughout the game, and each twist somehow benefitted her. She was conniving and clever, to be sure, but she was also lucky. It was clearly her faith that took her to the winner's circle.

WOW, I'd never seen this Scripture before! THANKS for sharing it, Fitlanta! It's most certainly an applicable health and weight loss Bible verse we can all find comfort in. THANK YOU again!

This verse made me stop for a minute... and ponder... and then I went to look it up in a few different versions.
Sometimes I really like "the Message" translation...
"And then God answered: Write this, write what you see. Write it out in BIG BLOCK LETTERS so that it can be read on the run.
This vision message is a witness, pointing to what's coming. It aches for the coming- it can hardly wait! And it doesn't lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait.
It's on its way. It will come right on time."Wow... that speaks loud and clear to me. I really love how the scriptures can 'come alive' and really be meaningful to my current situations!
I love that it confirms how important it is for me to WRITE ..

And to not hide what I am writing when I'm listening to God's words.
It also creates more patience within my soul.. confirmation that He knows we are impatient.. a gentle reminder that what we hope for.. will be here when he says so!!!
