"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."


The other day I made a promise to a friend to pray everyday that the Lord will help us to remain strong and help us to make healthy choices for ourselves and our families as we continue on this weight loss journey.

Even after making that promise, I had doubts. Then today, I read this verse. I can not have doubts. I have to believe that this is what He wants for me and my family. If I don't have faith and believe, it won't happen.

Today was planned as day 1 of starting over with induction. There could not have been more perfect timing to come across this verse.

Take at look at John 14:12-13 too

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

If you are asking for something that even Jesus himself would have asked for... there should be NO doubt that he will grant it!!!

BTW, I just noticed you are the moderator for the prayer room. What an excellent choice Jimmy has made. Your faith is unwaivering. I admire that.

The promises of God's Word are perfect for whatever circumstances we are facing. I'm so glad I have a Lord who said he would be with me always and forever.
