Hi everyone,
I am trying to tweek some menu plans that have items I don't like on them.
Have you in your LC journey found a place, or many places that can help to give you some useful help? Say a menu says mushrooms ( which I hate) I could put them into a site and they would give me things I could use instead.
Any ideas???
If not maybe someone can make a fortune by creating one. LOL

From Blaine's site: "soy flour for wheat flour"
But what if you can't have soy?
Normally I use almond flour....but I often see recipes that call for soy protein, not flour....what do you use for that? Textured soy protein is another one. I've thought about using egg white protein or whey protein, but I'm afraid that may require higher water/liquid?

Yeah, I'm not much on soy either, CindySue. I like CarbQuik and coconut flour, too.

I have these basics but still need others. Any ideas??
I simply don't cook with mushrooms... I just leave the out.
It would be helpful if you had specific examples of what you're looking for?

On some LC menu plans they give items like...
mushrooms
coconut
french beans
I just need some substitutes as too keep the calories up but give me something I can stomach
French beans are just thin green beans. You could use regular green beans.
Don't use mushrooms, don't like coconut... if I can't leave the mushrooms out, I don't make the recipe.
I don't even consider a recipe with coconut.
If it's that you don't like green beans, could you use some other vegetable? Without knowing the recipe, it's hard to offer a substitution.
