Hi Fawn! I always enjoyed reading your posts at KK. In fact, I read your last one.

(ones) I don't post there any more. I just go and see who is left and who is leaving. I like it here. Welcome to the sunshine!

Well Well...Look who I found. and you thought you could hide from me...nope..never ever. I am your stalker..opps I mean cheerleader. Ha. Ok it seems fitting...I was the very first person to post in your orginal journal at Kimkins and now me posting in your journal is my very first post.
I am at odds tonight about "things". I know we have talked about things..yes things need to change ..but I was enjoying our little place a few months ago. Things sure feel apart fast huh? Oh well we have already talked about all that.
So for now I will say Hello Miss Fawn my special friend..I am so glad I have found you.

Hi Fawn. Thanks for your nice comments on the blog. You are right, we are just trying to get the truth out. No hate here. Note sure there ever was any hate out there, just a lot of concerned people who were seeing what to them was obvious with Kimmer, and were wonder how not everyone could see it. She seems to be very good at deception and spinning things, as you have seen. Great to have you here.

Hey Fawn, I'm happy to help clarify what I meant by " increase your fat intake to a minimum of half your caloric intake." That means your total fat intake should comprise half of your calories. Fat should be half of what you eat, in other words.
Your Day One menu, for example, had the following fat/protein/carb ratio:
50/44/6YOU DID IT!!! Half your calories came from fat. GO GIRL!!!

Girl, when do you sleep?!!! You are like the energizer bunny, going, and going, and going. I am staying up "late" if I make it to 10:00 PM. I have NO energy. Gee, could it be from not eating for three months? Then eating everything in site? HHHMMMMM....glad to see you here, I *LOVE* reading your journals. I can't tell you how many times, I am sitting here, shaking my head in agreement!!! Have a great day

Add your fat, protein, and carbs together for your total macronutrient intake. Then divide that total into the individual numbers for your fat, protein and carbs to get your percentages. That's it, Fawn!

Hi Fawn !

Trying to start posting more.
Just wanted to say hi - KUTGW !

Fawn - not half your day's GRAMS from fat, but half your CALORIES.
Each gram of fat has more calories than a gram of protein or carbs.
Fat has 9 calories per gram, so 100 grams of fat = 900 calories, for instance.
Protein has 4 calories per gram, so 100 grams of protein = 400 calories, for instance.
Carbs have 4 calories per gram, so 20 grams of carbs = 80 calories.
Does that make sense? Or make it more confusing?

Girl.....you are so funny!! LOL I was laughing reading some of your posts. I am glad that I am not the only one that went HUH???

when Jimmy through that ratio/percentage thing at me!!!

So, then I am like.....uhhhhhhhh....Jimmy do you have some kind of formula for figuring this out? So, you weren't alone in that one!!!
So the jungle is still there huh?? It will be cold enough pretty soon that you might as well wait til Spring to tackle it. Most things will be dead by then and easier to get rid of before coming alive again.
Just wanted to stop by and say hi and tell ya' I love ya'! Been working a lot and haven't had time to be on, but, doesn't mean I'm no thinking of ya'!

Had to start my day with Fawn...too true, your words of wisdom. It is like a pack of wild dogs over...there. I just go to check on a few people I left, didn't even go yesterday. Too much conflicting info I am trying to undo. I bet you were doing the happy dance when you stepped on the scale, as well you should!! If I can just get through this weekend, I am starting induction Monday. I have a wedding Saturday(CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and we always go eat lunch with my mother after church on Sundays. So it will be, to me like my personal"last supper", and then, I can focus on nourishing my body the right way, for the rest of my life!! Hugs to you!!

Fawn, use the bbCode, not the HTML. It'll be the first code listed when you finish updating your ticker!
ETA: Also, make sure you save this link,
http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wN8IIPI/, so you can update your ticker. Then it'll automatically update your weightloss in your signature.

Fawn
You are right you cannot force people to stop kk. There are so many sites out there with all of the dangers and issues. The people that keep defending it have gotten downright rude and ugly and now the whole chatter thread is deleted. I stopped posting on there a few months ago - but I sent PMs to a few people on why I was no longer posting and about eating healthy. Maybe I should have done more ... the information is out there, but some people just don't want to hear it.
The quick weight loss does suck you in and you start ignoring all the warning signs when you know in your heart something is not right . I just want it stopped NOW so no new people get sucked in. I am tired of negativity - I am trying to focus on myself and get back to a sane way at looking at food and healthy weight loss.
Keep staying postive
