If you want to create an avatar (aka a picture or photo underneath your name on all your posts), then following these super-easy steps to success:

1. Once you become a member and sign in, click on "My Controls" at the top of the front page.
2. Click on "Edit Avatar Settings" in the lower left-hand corner of the page.
3. Under "Your Image Avatars," you have the option of uploading a picture from your computer desktop or inserting the URL of a photo online (PhotoBucket and Flickr are common housing sites for personal photos online).
4. Finally, click on "Update Avatar." YOU'RE DONE!
