Well, I have had some pic requests, but I decided to post them anyway! The pic quality is not very good at all, so excuse that part.

July 1, 2007 -- Taken at a neighbor's graduation ceremony. Black is always a good color for trying to conceal the lumps! And note the 'control top turtleneck...LOL! Folks, right there is a picture of the evidence that donuts cause extreme swelling!

September 2, 2007 -- Taken in my home office after 2 months of low-carb. First 25 pounds lost.

Update!

Today marks 3 months on Low-Carb and I'm so pleased to be able to say I've lost a total of 33 pounds! I'm 1/3 of the way to my 100 pound goal! I wanted to update my pics as well. Thanks to everyone for your friendship, encouragement and inspiration.

Start at 288, July 1, 2007

263 pounds, 25 pounds lost, September 2, 2007

255 pounds, 33 pounds lost, September 30, 2007

Well, you know what they say...we've all got a twin somewhere.

Yes, I said I would never let myself get that high, 288, but it happened. Now I gotta' deal with it. But I feel good about the success I have made thus far.
